各位英國留學申請者，請注意：
特別說明：所有迪恩斯準愛丁堡大學留學英國生已達到此一規定，且以辦完手續且取得就讀確認函。以下資訊為提醒非透過迪恩斯英國留學代辦愛丁堡大學留學英國生。
University of Edinburgh－愛丁堡大學於２０１１年０６月２４日來信通知。由於２０１１年０４月２３日的英國入出境管理局（UK Border Agency-UKBA）的最新規定。凡是電子電機學院（College of Humanities and Social Science）及人文學院者（College of Science and Engineering）所發出的入學通知（Conditional Offer / Unconditional）並且是英文條件是雅思６。５分者（IELTS 6.5），您的申請與入學條件將會以以下新條件做為入學條件，請各位準留學英國生特別注意。
因此，如果您已經取得學校的入學通知（Conditional Offer / Unconditional）者，將會依照新的規定，不論之前有任何的說明與安排，都將失效。假設您已經取得英國學生簽證者，亦同此規定辦理。愛丁堡大學將不于接受任何條件及狀況讓學生入學。
另外，需要獲得及取得就讀確認函（Certificate of Acceptance for Studies-CAS）需要四周的時間取得。
迪恩斯英國留學顧問群特別說明，另外還需要四週到六週的的準備時間，再加上一個禮拜的申請時間。
因此，於２０１１年申請愛丁堡大學英國學生簽證者，請特別及提早申請簽證與辦理相關手續。

愛丁堡大學原信件已寄至每位獲得入學通知的申請者信箱，請各位準留學英國生注意您是否已經收到信件。迪恩斯特別在此額外提醒。
1. IELTS Academic module 6.5 (with 6.0 in each section)
We will accept 6.5 overall with 6.0 in three sections and 5.5 in one section. Please contact us if you are in this category of student.
2. TOEFL-iBT 92 (with at least 21 in listening and writing, 22 in reading and 23 in speaking)
3. Pearsons Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with 59 in listening, 59 in reading, 59 in writing and 59 in speaking.

In order for the University of Edinburgh to issue a CAS for use in requesting a student Tier 4 visa, you must meet these requirements.
