學校介紹:
艾克斯特是所位於英格蘭西南方的「紅磚大學」Redbrick University。該校的主要活動皆集中於艾克斯特市，為一重要的高等教育機構。艾克斯特大學為英國大學研究組織「1994集團」1994 Group成員之一。英國報紙近期內，曾將該校評選為英國20所頂尖大學之一。
艾克斯特大學共擁有三處校區，包含Streatham、St Luke's及位於Cornwall的Tremough。
本校共有三個校區( Streatham Campus、St. Lukes Campus 及 Camborne School of Mines)，主校區Streatham佔地250英畝，綠意盎然的優美校園猶如一座大公園，校園中處處可見紅磚建物，因此有“紅磚大學”的美名，距離市中心僅需15分鐘的路程。學生人數約12,000人，國際學生約1,500名，分別來自海外100多個國家。
本校有六個學院：文學院、工程/科技學院、理科及數學學院、社會科學學院、法學院和教育學院，每年吸引超過1,700名國際學生至此校就讀，是一個多元文化匯聚的國際城市。
環境介紹:
艾克斯特市為德文郡府，位於英格蘭南部。座落於River Exe旁。2005年，該市人口估計為117,600人。
艾克斯特位於英格蘭西南部得文(Devon)距離倫敦約兩個半小時車程，擁有溫和的氣候與友善的氣息，是英國最宜人居住的地區之一，當地居民超過10萬人，也是英國西南部最重要的商業重鎮之一。
艾克斯特少了大城市的繁華，卻擁有寧靜的小鎮風情，保存英國各個時期的歷史建築，鄰近達特穆爾國家公園(Dartmoor National Park)、埃克斯穆爾國家公園(Exmoor National Park)，擁有高原地形及史前遺跡；距離德文郡(Devon)及康瓦爾郡(Cornwall)的迷人海岸沙灘不遠，四周又環繞著悠閒的田園風景，成為英格蘭西南的旅遊勝地。
學校設備:
大學網路設備完善，可供24小時上網，宿舍內亦可連結至學校網路，圖書館藏書超過百萬，其他設施如餐廳及學生活動空間、運動設備一應俱全，加上友善安全的氣氛，成為受學生歡迎的學校之一。
住宿相關:
校舍可以滿足大多數學生的需求，學生可選擇在學生宿舍或校內外膳食自理的公寓居住，基本上所有留學生都能分配到校舍。學生有單獨的房間，如果需要還可以有單獨的衛生間。廚房和餐廳公用。此外，學校也可以安排家庭住宿。
